Product range

The product range of high-quality 4 mm PVC welding cord for professional welding of PVC floor coverings and PVC connection profiles is available in over 80 colours.

Special colours are also available on request.

The delivery unit is uniformly 1 x roll of 100 m

Welding cord requirement per square meter of floor area:

Installation

This work process ensures that the PVC floor covering is welded together so that it is evenly durable, complete and even in the long term.

Mill the floor covering with a joint cutter after bonding. Milling depth 3/4 of the floor covering thickness with new milling blade from 3.3 to 3.8 mm.

Heat the welding cord with a hot fan, insert into the groove and roll out evenly, constantly hot-ventilated, running in the groove under even pressure

Immediately after welding, push off the welding cord for the first time with a slide and quarter moon knife - a residue of approx. 1 mm remains.

Alternatively: Use Mozart knife with slide

Allow the welding cord to cool completely and push it flat against the floor covering a second time using only a (sharply ground) quarter-moon knife.

Alternative: Use Mozart knife without slide.

Remarks

For milling

Use a hand-held joint planer to mill a groove at end pieces to the wall that the automatic router often cannot reach.

For welding at intersections

After welding the long side, mill out the intersections again (by hand) and only then weld the transverse groove with welding cord.

For welding large areas using an automatic welding machine

The spool size of the Raipolen welding cord is precisely matched to all automatic welding machines to ensure efficient and trouble-free work.
